How check SSL certificate on your website Print

You can review the SSL of your website by the below link.

https://www.sslshopper.com

Please note that if the domain is pointing to the znserverhost.com server and does not have a valid SSL configured already, the Let's Encrypt AutoSSL will try to configure the SSL on the domain automatically, and there is no fee for the AutoSSL.

Sometimes it could be because of your browser cache, you can clear the browser cache to access your website.

If you install WordPress by Softaculous then you can see warning message about SSL. As for the SSL warning in the softaculous, this is just a warning and even if Softaculous reports this message you can still proceed with the installation of an app for SSL. However, in some cases it will give the message "A trusted SSL Certificate was not found", there are two reasons for this:

- There's no active certificate for the domain

- If DNS resolution fails temporarily it can give the same error.

If you do not select the "https://" at the time of install wordpress by Softaculous then you need to login your wp-admin and then o to General Setting and then change the site url and home page url "http://" to "https://" .

Since your domain has a valid SSL certificate, it could be a temporary issue with the dns. The second option happens in some cases if the server tries to query a DNS server that can be down or not reachable from the network. This resolves itself within a short amount of time usually.

Despite the error - it doesn't prevent you from installing the software with "https://" selected in the dropdown since there's an active certificate for the domain, you can simply proceed with the installation regardless of the error/warning.

All the domain that point in our hosting is using the free Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate. This certificate renews after ever 90 days for free with AutoSSL. There are differences between Let's Encrypt certificates and traditional CA-issued certificates.  You must need to purchase an SSL certificate if you do not want the free Let's Encrypt certificate that renews every 90 days.
